Do I need a passport to buy the United Kingdom eSIM?

I'm worried about international roaming charges. How can I prevent any accidental usage of international roaming?

To prevent unintended data usage, label your physical SIM card (Domestic Plan) [Primary] and select [Secondary] for the “eSIM plan” at the time of installation.
Also, to block data usage based on a physical SIM card in advance, turn the [Cellular Data Switching] Off.

Is it necessary to deactivate my original SIM?

We highly recommend deactivating your original SIM to prevent data roaming charges from your domestic carrier while using the eSIM. Disabling your original SIM ensures that your device exclusively relies on the eSIM for data connectivity during your travels. However, if you still require the ability to receive calls and SMS on your home number while using the eSIM, you can keep your original SIM active. In this case, we suggest disabling the “Automatic Cellular Data Switching” feature on your device. This precaution prevents unintended data usage, guaranteeing that data traffic is directed through the eSIM plan rather than the original SIM.

When does my eSIM validity start?

Your data plan will start as soon as you install it on your phone. It is recommended for you to scan and activate your eSIM right before your departure date so you will be connected after landing.
When you install your eSIM, the number of the days will start to count down. If you are not in the country that the eSIM covers, you cannot access the data and will not lose any data in the plan.

Which is better for traveling: SIM card or eSIM?

For your travels, we recommend using an eSIM if your device supports them.

How to activate eSIM?

Can I share data or tether with the eSIM in Hotspot?

Yes, the eSIM will allow you to share your mobile data with other devices.

Can I top-up the data if I use it all before 30 days?

eSIM will give you amount of data at Max speed based on your plan options. After that, the speed capacity will be throttled to 128kbps – 384kbps, you can still browse the web with light use.

Currently, there is no data top-up option. We will announce soon after top-up features done.

How will I receive my eSIM?

After you place your order, we will send an email with your eSIM information, including QR code, confirmation code and activation guide within a few minutes. Just scan the QR code and follow the user guide.

How many times that I can scan the eSIM QR code?

eSIM can only be scanned once. After being activated, it will be ready for you to use until the expired date or the day when data runs out. If you remove eSIM from your phone, you will not be able to use it once again.

Can I use the same QR code on multiple devices?

The QR code can be scanned once which means that if you remove the eSIM from your phone, you cannot install it again. And eSIM can only be installed on one device.
